When employees constantly stare at the same interface, even minor improvements in the interface can significantly improve employee experience and productivity. Research
By watching employees of various levels of experience, we saw that their goals and behaviors clustered into a few personas, each of whom deserved their own interface. Much of the existing workflow falls outside of the application, where the expert users fall back on excel's data manipulation capabilities.
Design
To facilitate employees work in the web application, we designed an interface that would support both the expert and the novice employees, with commands that more specifically matched the task to be done.
